March is the month when any GST adjustments are required to be made.  There can be a number of situations where GST adjustments are required, for example:

  • Adjusting for property coming into and exiting the GST net.
  • Where property is used for both taxable and exempt activities e.g. property developers temporarily renting property.
  • Assets used for GST taxable and private use.

We will consider the required adjustments, the calculations and the de minimis rule.
