Phil joined nsaTax in 2000 after a successful career at PwC and brings over 30 years of experience as a chartered accountant. Specialising in providing tax advice to SMEs, chartered accountants, lawyers, and corporates, Phil has developed a deep expertise in tax planning, structuring, and international taxation, particularly in Trans-Tasman structures.

Phil holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University and a Master of Taxation Studies (First Class Honours) from Auckland University. A passionate speaker, he regularly presents at seminars and webinars, including those for the NZCA and NZ Law Conferences.
In addition to his professional expertise, Phil enjoys mountain biking around the trails of Lake Taupo/Kinloch, boating, and spending quality time with family and friends at his haven in Kinloch.
